Head football coach Todd Mooney has announced the team's Players of the Week for the Methodist game.
Junior tackle Stephen Stinchcomb is the Offensive Player of the Week. Stinchcomb graded 91 percent in the game on the offensive line and had five knockdown blocks.
Senior linebacker Andre Carter is the Defensive Player of the Week. Carter had nine tackles, including 2.5 for losses. He returned a fumble 61 yards for a touchdown, the longest fumble return in the program's history. Carter also become the school's all-time leading tackler with 254 for his career.
Junior Isaac Dixon is the Special Teams Player of the Week. Dixon returned five kickoffs for 166 yards. He had a 74-yard return, the fourth longest kickoff return in the program's history. Dixon also had a special teams tackle.
Freshman receiver Andy McPherson is the Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week. Freshman defensive back Delvin Jordan is the Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week.
